October 2008 President's Message Every so often I’m reminded how small our right of way community is. While individuals move from one job to another or change career paths, many business partnerships are formed and lasting friendships created. Life events seem to happen in a blink of the eye. At this time I wanted to inform our membership of the passing of Victor Calucci, an active member of Chapter 1 from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Victor passed on Saturday, September 27, 2008. I’m sure there are many of you who knew Victor and I would like to extend my warmest sympathies. Please be advised of the following education opportunities coming up… November Course 701 – Property Asset Management; Leasing (11/5 to 11/6) Course 803 – Eminent Domain Law Basics (11/20 to 11/21) Course 703 – Real Property/Asset Management (11/21) FALL SEMINAR On October 28, 2008, Chapter 1 is hosting the annual Fall Seminar.
